Important information (FAQ)  

  WHEN IS THE BEST TIME TO DO A BABY’S FIRST PHOTOSHOOT?
The best time to photograph a baby is between the first 5-14 days. This is when the baby is not yet struggling with colic, sleeps well, and poses (such as “cocoon,” “swirl,” etc.) are natural, physiologically safe, and comfortable for the baby. After this period, the baby will likely wake up more frequently, may start experiencing colic, and not all poses will be suitable for the shoot.  

  WHEN CAN YOU BOOK A PHOTOSHOOT DATE?
It is best to book in advance based on the due date, and after the baby is born, you can contact me to finalize the date. You can also book a shoot immediately after the baby’s birth (but only if I have available dates).  

  HOW TO BOOK A PHOTOSHOOT?
To book a photoshoot, you need to write or call me. We will discuss the details, and you can provide me with the due date or the baby’s age if they have already been born. Booking the photoshoot requires a deposit of 30 euros. Full payment is due on the day of the shoot.
If you cancel the photoshoot without a valid reason, the booking fee is non-refundable.  

  WHERE DOES THE PHOTOSHOOT TAKE PLACE?
I come to your home with all the necessary props for the photoshoot.  

WHAT IS THE PREPARATION FOR PARENTS BEFORE THE PHOTOSHOOT?

• We need a quiet room and free space for setting up the equipment. The floor should be as clean as possible — either wet or dry cleaning.

PLEASE INFORM YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS THAT A PHOTOGRAPHER WILL BE COMING. Let them know that the photographer will be rocking, feeding, and positioning the baby into poses, wrapping the baby in swaddles (cocoons), and that the photographer will not harm the baby.

• A pacifier is essential for the photoshoot, as it’s much better to give the baby the pacifier and take photos, rather than starting the poses from the very beginning and upsetting the baby. The pacifier will only be used if necessary, but it should be available.
• Expressed milk/formula in a bottle. Milk may be useful if the baby wakes up in a pose and wants to eat. After feeding, we can continue the shoot without disturbing the baby and slowing down the process. However, you can always feed the baby if you feel it’s needed.
• Wet wipes, 3 diapers, 1 disposable changing pad, and colic drops (if prescribed by a doctor or if the mother decides to use them).
• Neutral-colored clothing without prints or logos for family members (according to your chosen package). For example, white/neutral t-shirts for both parents or a neutral dress (for the mom), and a matching shirt/polo (for the dad). It’s recommended to iron the clothing. I also suggest that mom applies light makeup, neatly arranges her hair, and ensures her hands and nails are in order, as hands may be in close-up shots or family portraits.
• I recommend not planning anything for the day of the photoshoot. PLEASE DO NOT INVITE GUESTS ON THAT DAY! Try not to rush if your package includes family portraits. Remember that photography is a creative process. Your photos will be beautiful if everything goes smoothly.

By following these recommendations, the photoshoot will be easy and comfortable for the baby, which means it will be comfortable for us as well, ensuring a successful session and beautiful, high-quality images.

  HOW LONG DOES THE PHOTOSHOOT LAST?
On average, 2-3 hours. The duration directly depends on your little one’s mood. This is not continuous baby photography for 3 hours; we will need breaks for feeding, changing, and soothing the baby.  

  WILL THERE BE FAMILY PHOTOS?
Yes, I will take group shots with parents/siblings, as well as individual photos with mom and dad. Depending on the chosen package, you will receive family photos in 1 or 2 styles.  

  RETOUCHING
Redness and peeling are corrected during post-processing of the photos. Depending on the chosen package, I will provide you with a certain number of photos in my exclusive retouching style. You can always order additional photos for an extra charge.  

  I shoot with flash lighting. It is completely safe for the baby. Therefore, any room will be suitable for the photoshoot. For family shots in style number 2 (Prima and Diamante plans), a free wall will be needed.  

ARE YOUR PROPS SAFE?
Yes, before each photoshoot, I wash the fabric props and steam clean items that cannot be washed. I work in a mask, change into clean clothes, and always wash my hands before the shoot.  

  IN WHAT FORMAT WILL I RECEIVE THE PHOTOS?
I will send the photos (with exclusive color correction and retouching) via a file-sharing service, in the quantity corresponding to your chosen package. Additionally, I will provide mini copies with my copyright, specially resized for easy posting on social media.
According to your selected package, you can also receive a USB flash drive with the photos and a high-quality photo book.  

PHOTOSESSION TERMS

The photoshoot takes place at your home. Booking is done in advance. After making the deposit, we will agree on the date and time (I will add your due date to my schedule).

Full payment is made on the day of the shoot. In case of cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable, except for force majeure circumstances.

All original photo material remains with me. The retouching completion time, after selection, is 2 — 10 weeks, depending on your chosen package. Force majeure (illness, etc.) may also affect this time. Thank you in advance for your patience ♥️

During the photoshoot, I will act at my discretion, considering the baby’s age, weight, height, temperament, and well-being, as well as my knowledge of safety, posing rules, and personal experience.

I cannot guarantee the exact number of images or a perfect match to a photo you may have liked, nor the exact amount of time we will spend on the shoot. I aim to make the session as varied as possible, using available props and considering the baby’s abilities.

I would greatly appreciate it if you allow me to use the photos from the session in my portfolio. They showcase my professional growth and skill level.
